58. CASTING OUT DEMONS / FOLLOW UP
From the modern particle physicist's perspective, our bodies, indeed our entire world is nothing but a minute amount of mass, mostly energy whirling around and held together only by some vague, abstract, difficult to conceive of theory which assumes 11 multiple unseen dimensions to our world, Stephen Hawking's M theory, a modified version of string theory which has been around for decades.
The world God created for us is very mysterious, in actuality I believe more spiritual than physical than we can conceive of with our limited vision. We're nothing more than a pet project of God who controls energy, mass and light. He may have thousands of such projects going on around the universe and seems to delegate much authority.
Things happen which He didn't intend perhaps because of His limited supervision. We're his pets in a cage and we can't see out of the cage. Someone he delegated some authority to wasn't doing their job right and introduced some fleas which are pestering his pets. He' a busy God and doesn't have time to pick every flea off each of his pets as He's managing a warehouse full of projects.
This type of flea feeds off any nastiness on the pets so doesn't bother the few that keep themselves well groomed and clean, but even the abnormal few who do clean themselves can't avoid some nastiness. There was only one who had an abnormal birth that kept himself perfectly clean and free from the fleas. We are the pets and we know these fleas as demons and the really clean pet as Jesus.
It's easy to drve out a demon, anyone can do it. Just put your hands on someone, invoke the power af Jesus's name and tell them to leave. IT IS ALSO VERY DANGEROUS. All the activity is happening in another dimension so usually nothing is felt, sometimes a tingle or maybe a bit of warmth, a tiny bit of trembling perhaps.
Some time ago I offered to help a friend with his street ministry and he warned me off. These people he explained can have some really nasty collections and a former partner of his, an airline pilot was driven insane by this activity. Apparently the man only thought he believed and had the Spirit but didn't. The story of the seven sons of Sceva is a biblical illustration. Here's a challenge for pastors, especially those in churches that don't see any supernatural and we may kill two birds with one stone here.
Test your faith, bring your congregants into a room one at a time, put your hands on each member and pray out the demons. Do this once a month. If you go insane or commit a serous crime that lands you in jail, the church will be cleansed of dead leadership and you will know for certain whether or not you had true faith. Everyone in your church should feel better though.
You don't have to be baptized in the Spirit to have the Holy Spirit, but the safest person to be doing this would be one of those kooks who prays in tongues. You better get prayed up first because unrepentant sin allows them entry and you better not be in any sin while you're doing this. Same sex would be safest. I'd be comfortable doing this with men, but, especially in my current condition of many months abstinence, I would not feel comfortable putting my hands on an attractive woman and praying anything out. Any impure thoughts I might be having from the feel of my hands on her body would allow them entry into me.
Dr. Keyton says that the correct commands lead to more effective prayer. Jesus tells us in MATTHEW 16:19: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." and MATTHEW 18:18 "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." We loose bad things from ourselves and bind good things to ourselves. If we just pray, in Jesus's name, I command all evil in this person to leave, it may do some good, it may not. Heaven in these verses I believe refers to first heaven, our world where Jesus or an angel of his, probably the Holy Spirit, will be right beside us in another dimension doing our bidding.
Again as I've previously stated many places, we can't just put the phrase "spirit of" in front of something and get it, like alcoholism. For instance if we pray, "In Jesus's name I address the spirit of alcoholism, I loose you from this person, rebuke you and cast you out. Be gone and don't come back in Jesus's name," you haven't addressed anything because alcoholism is a manifestation of the spirit named Gluttony and here's where the King James version comes in handy. I don't understand it but Jesus in his messages and the names of good and evil seem to be stuck in this translation, for instance see my message from him and posting, HE'S ASKING FOR A HARLOT. "Harlot" is an archaic term from middle english. We can address a negative emotion though and usually have the demon responsible. If you aren't sure, it would probably be better to address, "Whatever evil is causing alcoholism." I think you'll be more effective if you can address something by name vs. all evil in this person.
All your authority is from Jesus's name, you can't use it too much but you can use it too little. Dr. Keyton says the demon may hang around outside the person making them feel like nothing's changed so they may need to continue asking it to leave for a while, again in Jesus's name. Dr. Keyton says he likes his Hebrew name Yehshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the messiah, but that shouldn't matter.
Follow up is critical, as Jesus warns in LUKE 11:24 "When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, I will return to the house I left. When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and finds seven other spirits more wicked than itself and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first." Not only is this a reference to the book of Enoch, see following link which explains where demons come from, it is also follow up advice when demons are told they're no longer welcome as house guests. They can be persistent, you almost have to get rude with them to make them leave. http://nazarenespace.com/profiles/blogs/exegesis-1-enoch-15-8-12-rephaim-nephilim-giants-and-demons
The demons Jesus cast out would have been strongholds, collections of many with the same name and assignments referred to in the singular. Legion for instance may have consisted of several thousand. Cast out a demon of Lust and there may be a hundred individuals.
Apparently the Nephilim ran amok for centuries and populated the earth from archaeological finds. We know giants came through the flood. If there was paternal lineage from any of the men, demons were and perhaps may still be getting produced but may have been bred down to human size and appearance, but size doesn't matter as souls are traced through paternal lineage. I've seen articles about modern day Nephilim being saved, they may still be with us. Don't worry, there seem to be plenty for all of us to have our fair share. I don't know how a person would know if one is a descendant of a watcher. Just think, you may turn into a demon when you die. Maybe I think things through too thoroughly.
The driving force behind the habit or behavior may be gone, but the habit may still be in place. Repeating the behavior gives them permission to come back in so it's going to take some effort to break the old habit as well as casting them out. James 4:7; "Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, he will flee from you." You may have to resist him a few days or weeks.
It is crucial to fill the empty space with the good things of God. Some suggestions: On a daily basis say, "In the name of Jesus I bind to myself love, peace, joy, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self control and patience," the fruit of the Spirit. Learn some scripture and repeat it daily as well as studying the Bible.
I took Norman Vincent Peale's challenge in the power of positive thinking and worked my way out of my pit which had seemed like a hopeless place I had no escape from for 3 years. As he says, try it even if you don't believe it. I had nothing to lose, didn't believe it but tried it. 3 times each, 3 times a day I repeated, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, If god is for us who can be against us, and from Isaiah, Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up on wings and soar like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." And I parapharsed "Jesus wants us to live life and live it abundantly." I went into detail I believe in BIZARRE EXPERIENCE CONCLUSION so will not repeat here but I saw improvement as promised within a week and major change over the next few months. I'm soaring now but still missing one big thing. Yeah, you know by now, a woman. The preceeding is good advise for all, especially any who've had a demon(s) kicked out. You don't just have A demon, you probably have many of them.
Start some good habits, eat right, force yourself to start exercising or go to the gym for a month, then it will become a habit and your day won't feel right without it. Paul tells us "physical training is of some value." You'll have to make an effort to keep it up for about a month though before you've created a new habit. Good luck my friends.
In my next posting I'll detail a little break through I've made, I'm hoping but not sure it's what I'm looking for as well as reason through the creation of demons without Enoch and make my argument against what I just heard from a church leader, "God must have made demons since He's sovereign." We'll have to make the tiniest of assumptions that the immortal souls of the Nephilim might have become demons, but that's it.
The rules of the quest I've been sent on seem to be that Jesus can't come right out and tell me what I'm looking for, I have to figure something out on my own, and I'm not sure what I'm looking for. He can coach me and give me some feedback, put things and people in front of me at just the right time. I'm trying to get another session with Chris to see if I can get any clues from Jesus via the Holy Spirit but she's busy.
That's what's lead to most of these postings in the sequence they're in. He makes it obvious what he wants me to write about and I study topics that seem to lead from one to another. Follow through chronologically to see what I'm going through.
I consider myself computer illiterate, I've been offline and back in the woods building houses for many years. I'd suggest those in leadership do some research for themselves. Learn your topics before you try to teach them. Look at all I've come up with in a short time, around my day job. I did start with a good knowledge of the Bible and study of Dr. Keyton's work though, not from zero.
In His service, a Misfit Child of God
