Edit from 6-26-15 I've made my first breakthrough at this writing, the lie and delusion of 2 Thessalonians 2, may be on to my next assignment. I could be days here to be comprehensive. God is spirit, so is Jesus and so is our consciousnesses. We live in a world that's more spirit than physical, we just can't see it with our earth eyes.
The angels have different responsibilities, for instance a good or bad principality oversees operations in a geographic area. Another class will oversee the functions of various angels in warfare, etc. Fallen angels will be opposing god's angels with the same functions, now though, under satan.
People with the gift of discernment from 1 COR 12 have seen angels and demons throughout history and much is available online. I wondered earlier if the spirit of python Dr. Keyton once saw was a demon, but just read one of the angels had a snake form. That tells me that the spirit of python Dr. Keyton saw would have been a fallen angel not a demon. Research for yourselves if you like. By the way, in a church with tongues, you're likely to come across someone who's had the gift of discernment at some time.
As I started this blog, my main extra biblical resource was Dr. Keyton's book STRIPES, NAILS, THORNS AND THE BLOOD, A Manual for Spiritual Warfare, Healing and Deliverance. This book is used for 2 college courses at an unconventional seminary school. I don't know for certain but I suspect their students are taught to use God's power and probably graduate with supernatural gifts, like Dr. Keyton, one of their graduates who "moves among" all 9 of the supernatural gifts of 1 COR 12, the first of the prophets of God who sent me for a break through.
For instance as an example of miraculous power, she describes going into a Congo city that was being over run by rebels, her enemy in her mission to save the pygmies. The rebels kill and eat the pygmies, sometimes in front of their families. As she neared the city she was warned to turn back. She prayed for God's protection and knew she was in His will so drove right ahead. As she got to the city, the rebel forces were all fleeing.
I suspect something happened similar to Elisha's situation, (2 Kings 6) where he was surrounded by king Arams forces at Dothan. He calmly told his panicked assistant, "Don't be afraid, those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Then God gave the assistant the gift of discernment, (1 COR 12) and he saw the enemy forces surrounded by God's forces of horses and chariots of fire. God proceeded to blind the enemy and Elisha led them into the city of Samaria, where they were treated to a feast and sent back to their master. In Dr. Keyton's case, I suspect the rebel forces were given the gift of discernment and saw God's army which terrified them causing them to flee.

Much as satan has his spirits or dark angels with manifestations obvious from their names, Jealousy, Gluttony, Anti christ, Lying, etc. so God has his also with their functions obvious from their names. You can't put the name "spirit of" in front of anything and have it, the example I keep using is alcoholism and this may be redundant in this posting, I'm back to do some editing. There's no spirit of alcoholism, that falls under the spirit named Gluttony. Biblically, any time we see spirit of, I think we can assume we have an angel, God's guys, spirits of grace, excellence, truth, etc. I'm not real clear on Holy Spirit, is he an angel? If he's not would we see the phrase consciousness of? Our spirits aren't angels, or are they? Maybe we each have an angel within our selves which is our consciousnesses or soul which God will send to hell or heaven on judgment day.
Jesus has sent me on a mission by way of a couple prophets to get to the highest level possible of understanding the Bible . Maybe I just hit something with that. There's much the Bible doesn't tell us.
I've never seen it done but maybe we can ask Jesus to send us one of these spirits to help us in relevant situations, as Paul shows us in EPH 1:17 "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation." Revelation isn't on the list of Spirits but may be another or may be just insight we gain with the help of the Spirit of wisdom. As in "Jesus, please give me the Spirit of Understanding to help me figure this situation out." You can't just make up a name though as I've explained before, as in "spirit of alcoholism." There's no such spirit. Cast out the spirit of alcoholism and you haven't addressed any angelic being or demon under him by the same name, alcoholism is a manifestation of the spirit and his demons named Gluttony.
God and satan's army are structured very much like our militaries. God didn't copy our militaries though. Think about that a second. We copied God's military with a bit of help from satan. There are angels of various rank, some under others and demons of varying size and power. The Nephilim ranged from human size to 36' and some would have been meaner than others. The demons hate their masters, the dark angels but are under their authority, like the private hating his captain. They live in our flesh, and being from the evil Nephilim, enjoy tormenting us.
Whenever we see a phrase such as EPH 1:20 "he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all RULE and AUTHORITY, POWER and DOMINION, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but in the one that is to come," also EPH 6:12 "for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the RULERS, against the AUTHORITIES, against the POWERS of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, rule, ruler, authority, power and dominion refer to classes of angelic beings, fallen in these verses but God's angels have the same class designation with individual names. I'll repeat here, demons are not fallen angels but have the iimmortal souls as traced through paternal lineage to the watchers. In this verse "spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" I believe could be translated into layman's terms as "demons in another dimension."
Different translations will add much confusion as some of the translators didn't know what they were looking at. Jesus probably gave us these angels in descending order but their sequence gets rearranged by some translators. Here's a list, probably not comprehensive of what some angel classes are getting called: evil rulers - this guy didn't know what he was looking at, statistically speaking, 2/3 of the rulers were not evil but God's angels, despotisms - another unqualified translator as they aren't earthly rulers and I doubt God named them despotisms, cosmic powers, lords of this age, empires, universal lords and world rulers. They weren't world rulers, here's another idiot confusing things.
The names of angels, good or fallen may be thought of as military vehicles or vessels. For instance while in the Marine Corps, I was deployed on a helicopter ship, LPH, (landing platform helicopter), named the Inchon. LPH, Inchon. So as with an angel and I don't know yet or if the Bible tells us, what class certain angels are from so this is just illustrative, Principality named Wisdom, or on the other side, Principality named Jealousy, Ruler named Excellence, (from Daniel), or satan's ruler named gluttony.
We have good and bad angels named Fear, a chief prince of satan and God's named Fear of the Lord, I don't know their classes.
I've given a thorough description to the army of satan, learned how to do my own research and will now give a description of God's army. Following is a list of God's angels, approximately from highest to lowest:
JESUS CHRIST - HEB 1:5 - 2:16 I found this puzzling but verses 8 and 9 support it, "But about the son he (God) says, {Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, HAS SET YOU ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS by anointing you with the oil of joy.}"
I'm learning as I go and don't want to commit blasphemy, I may be mistaken, and could easily be dissuaded from this thinking but according to this source, it appears Jesus was created something of the super angel, an angel God elevated above all others, verse 5: "For to which of the angels did God ever say, {You are my son; today I have become your Father.} Or again, {I will be his Father, and he will be my Son...}"
GOD top Spirit John 4:23 "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of woshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers mus worship in the Spirit and in truth."
Verse 9 seems to suggest Jesus was an angel "set above his companions."
The Son Superior to Angels

THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD, no description is given as to type of angel but they perform various functions as described by their names. They are seen 4 times in Revelation and first in Isaiah 11:2: THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD will rest on him - THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and of UNDERSTANDING, THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL and of MIGHT, THE SPIRIT OF THE KNOWLEDGE and FEAR OF THE LORD - and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
REV 3:1 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars..."
I'm not real clear but I believe the Holy Spirit is a combination of these spirits of God.
LUCIFER, the interpretation of the name means "Morning Dawn" also referred to as morning star, star of the morning, bright star, son of Dawn, anointed cherub, angel of light, and keeper of God's glory. Lucifer was created by God as the most wise, most beautiful of his angels. He was the director of heavenly music with musical instruments built into his body. He was the only angel with 12 pairs of wings, the Seraphim have 6 pairs, they stand before God, one pair covers their feet, and one pair covers their faces so they won't see God. Most angels don't have wings. I suspect they're for beauty or ceremonial purposes, much as our military officers wear swords for ceremonial purposes only. Lucifer was covered with "every precious stone." Here's his description which seems to be addressed to the king of Tyre but is referring to Lucifer, the power behind the king of Tyre at the time.
EZEKIEL 28: 12 - 19

WATCHERS are described in the book of Enoch as archangels. They are only seen by that name in Daniel 4:13, 17 and 23, King James version, referred to as "holy" one or "messenger" in other translations from Nebuchadnezzar's dream. No description from the Bible but were given human form so looked like men but we only know that by the book of Enoch. 200 of their group were the immortal source of our modern day demon by paternal lineage. They are referred to as "sons of God" in GENESIS, and are mentioned again in JUDE 6 - 7, "the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." I found the below information in Wikipedia. Biblical research is not an exact science and I'm starting to see what I now recognize as error and confusion in much of what I research, (I've got the best teacher possible). Angel names can be misleading and a translator may rename them because he doesn't understand what he's translating. Rulers, an angel classification are also called principalities, evil rulers, and despotisms in different translations. It seems we should stay with the King James translation for best accuracy. In the second sphere, "Virtues and Strongholds," the translator may be in error about the term, "strongholds. This may be an angel class but it's also a collection of demons powerful enough to start changing behavior vs. a smaller collection which will just give us negative thoughts. From the biblical phrase, the weapons we use are "mighty through God for pulling down strongholds," I can understand how the scholar may have thought "strongholds" was an angel class but I believe he's mistaken. The "Seven Fold Spirit of God" could be the "perfect" Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit FOUR LIVING CREATURES from Revelations 4, they were covered with eyes, front and back, one like a lion, one like an ox, one like a man and one like a flying eagle. They had six pairs of wings, one pair to cover their feet, considered unholy, one pair to cover their faces and one pair to fly with. Their eternal song is, "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD almighty, the whole earth is full of his glory. FIRST CHOIR SERAPHIM are similar to the four living creatures, perhaps synonymous with them. Seraph in the Hebrew Bible is synonymous with serpent. The spirit of Python Dr. Keyton saw with her gift of discernment would have been a fallen seraph. CHERUBIM from Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 10, similar to the seraphim, but with four pairs of wings, completely covered with eyes, including wings, they also had four faces, one a cherub, one a human, one a lion and one an eagle. THRONES described in and seen by Ezekiel. "Ezekiel saw the wheel," . Those who never see the supernatural power of Jesus in their lives don't want to accept any information not found in the Bible but those of us who "move among" the gifts know that Jesus teaches us many things not in the Bible. We can consider the information quite reliable even if we can't prove it out of the Bible. Think flying saucer for recent sightings of wheels or angels named thrones. The top choir of angels are throne room angels, the wings are probably just ceremonial, similar to our military officers use of swords during parade functions or maybe for show, Ezekiel describes the wings as being noisy, "like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech..." As we know physics, they wouldn't use the wings for flying in outer space. SECOND CHOIR DOMINIONS or LORDSHIPS They look like the common idea of angels, having a form we are similar to, heavenly beautiful with feathered wings, ceremonial, rarely showing themselves to humans, they regulate the other angels activities over nations and carry a sphere of light either fastened to the heads of their scepters or pommel of their swords. VIRTUES OR STRONGHOLDS (I believe strongholds is an error. I couldn't support it by a bit of research for being an angel category but rather it is a collection of demons.) They supervise the movement of the heavenly bodies throughout the cosmos, making sure it stays in order. They are the ministries through which signs and miracles are manifested on earth, known as brilliant or shining ones, associated with acts of heroism or courage. (Stephen Hawking explains some of their activity with his M theory, I prefer the biblical explanation though will agree with him about some extra unseen dimensions, not necessarily 11 though.) POWERS OR AUTHORITIES collaborate, in power and authority with the Pricipalities or Rulers, opposing evil spirits to minimize harm on earth. They are the completely loyal to God, some believe none has fallen. This is the opinion of the wikipedia author but I disagree as Jesus tells us in EPHESIANS 6:12 that our struggle is against "principalities, against POWERS, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I'm going to do a quick segue, I've previously described this but for the reader of this posting, the first three things mentioned are angel categories and the fourth, "forces of evil in high places," would refer to demons in another dimesnsion. High places in this case refers to our minds and the demons do most of their evil with our thoughts, though can also cause physical illness as I understand them. They are warrior angels, bearers of conscience and keepers of history. They distribute power among humankind. PRINCIPALITIES OR AUTHORITIES wear a crown and carry a scepter. Their duty is to carry out orders from the dominions and give blessings to the material world. They oversee groups of people and inspire us to art and science. Some administer, some assist. ARCHANGEL messenger or envoy, they may have 2 rankings as designated by an upper and lower case "a". Michael and Gabriel are archangels. Some suspect Michael the archangel may be Jesus. the archangels are most commonly seen as they carry important messages from God to humans. They are said to be guardians of nations, involved with commerce and trade, involved with political and military matters. THE SPIRIT OF MAN, the weakest angel. Just my theory. I believe we may be the least of the spirits or angels God created. The angel part of us is our spirit, encased in a form of energy that feels like matter to us, held together by some abstract theory of physics requiring 11 unseen dimensions to work, Stephen Hawking's M theory.
