I just had what I'll call a God experience. It's been some time since I've been through Revelation, thought I should do a thorough reading. With the understanding I've gained from Dr. Keyton's work on spiritual warfare, healing and deliverance, STRIPES, NAILS THORNS AND THE BLOOD, I'm sensitive to the word, "spirit." REV 5:6 "...The lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth." After reading this, I suspected these are God's angels so googled "seven spirits of God" and was referred to Isaiah 11:2. I opened my Bible way back around Isaiah and hit the exact page. God is with me as I'm writing this. Verse 1 reads, "A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. 2. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him - The Spirit of Wisdom and of Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and of Might, the Spirit of the Knowledge and Fear of the Lord - 3. and he will delight in the fear of the LORD."
About verse 1., Jesse was king David's father, the Branch would be Jesus. Joseph's genealogy differs in the 2 gospels where it appears. It's argued that one of these, the genealogy in Luke is Mary's line so, since Jesus was not the biological son of Joseph, Joseph's genealogy doesn't really matter, but we see that through Mary, Jesus is from the line of David.
Much as satan has his spirits or dark angels with manifestations obvious from their names, Jealousy, Gluttony, Anti christ, Lying, etc. so God has his also with their functions obvious from their names. I've never seen it done but maybe we can ask Jesus to send us one of these spirits to help us in relevant situations, as Paul shows us in EPH 1:17 "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation." Revelation isn't on the list of Spirits but may be another or may be just insight we gain with the help of the Spirit of wisdom. As in "Jesus, please give me the Spirit of Understanding to help me figure this situation out." You can't just make up a name though as I've explained before, as in "spirit of alcoholism." There's no such spirit. Cast out the spirit of alcoholism and you haven't addressed any angelic being or demon under him by the same name, alcoholism is a manifestation of the spirit and his demons named Gluttony.
God and satan's army are structured very much like our militaries. There are angels of various rank, some under others and demons of varying size and power. The demons hate their masters, the dark angels but are under their authority, like the private hating his captain. They live in our flesh, and being from the evil Nephilim, enjoy tormenting us.
Whenever we see a phrase such as EPH 1:20 "he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all RULE and AUTHORITY, POWER and DOMINION, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but in the one that is to come," rule, authority, power and dominion refer to classes of angelic beings, fallen or not.
The names of angels, good or fallen may be thought of as military vehicles or vessels. For instance while in the Marine Corps, I was deployed on a helicopter ship, LPH, (landing platform helicopter), named the Inchon. LPH, Inchon. So as with an angel and I don't know yet or if the Bible tells us, what class certain angels are from so this is just illustrative, Principality named Wisdom, or on the other side, Principality named Jealousy. I'll repeat the preceeding paragaphs in the posting on angels
I just cleared away a bit more dirt and rock in my quest for treasure. I'll get there.

Seven Spirits of God
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the Christian Bible, the term seven Spirits of God appears four times in the Book of Revelation.[1][2] The meaning of this term has been interpreted in multiple ways.[3]
Biblical references[edit]
The seven Spirits of God are mentioned four times in the Book of Revelation, and in the book of Isaiah it names each Spirit.[1][2]
- Revelation 1:4 - John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
- Revelation 3:1 - And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
- Revelation 4:5 - And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
- Revelation 5:6 - And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Isaiah 11:2 ( New International Version)
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—
Interpretations[edit]
The "Sevenfold Ministry of the Spirit" interpretation holds that the seven Spirits refer to Book of Isaiah 11:2. In this interpretation, "The "seven Spirits" represent the sevenfold ministry of the Spirit as depicted in Isaiah 11:2." [2] As it is written in the Holy Bible in the Book of Isaiah, 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; Isaiah 11:2 (KJV). Including the Spirit of the Lord, and the Spirits of wisdom, of understanding, of counsel, of might, of knowledge and of fear of the LORD, here are represented the seven Spirits, which are before the throne of God.[4] The reference to the lamb in Revelation 5:6 relates it to the Seven Spirits which first appear in Revelation 1:4 and are associated with Jesus who holds them along with seven stars.[5]
In the New Testament, the term "Dynamis" (translated as Virtues) suggests a class of exalted spiritual beings; the same perhaps parallel to the "chief Princes" (Sar rishown) in the Old Testament, of which Michael is stated to be one (Daniel 10:13).[6]
Note: the word "Dynamis" means something closer to 'strength', 'power' or 'ability' not 'virtues', as examinations of a Greek lexicon or concordance would reveal. "Dynamis" is used by Paul to refer to spiritual beings in Romans 8:38, Eph 1:21, 3:10, 6:12, Col 1:16, 2:10 & 15. "Powers and principalities" can apply to both angelic and demonic beings, more often in the New Testament to demonic beings.
Sevenfold may also be connected with the Biblical understanding of the number 7 representing perfection. The "Seven Fold Spirit of God" could be the "perfect" Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit.[7]
